What is sublimation printing and how do I sublimate on a blank product?
Sublimation printing is a unique method that allows transferring high-quality, full-colour images onto various polyester coated substrates, such as ceramics, metals, Sublimer™, MDF wood, 2-tone Sublimer™, fabrics, and more. The essentials needed for this printing technique include a sublimation printer (Sawgrass™) with sublimation ink, sublimation transfer paper, a heat press, and a variety of sublimation blanks - all available at JG Electronics.
Our SG500 A4 & SG1000 A3 sublimation printers from Sawgrass™ use Sawgrass™ SubliJet UHD inks. This is a unique type of ink that transforms from a solid to a gas when exposed to heat. The transition is known as sublimation, and during this process, the ink particles penetrate the surface of the product you are personalising using heat and pressure from a heat press. The result is vibrant and durable prints that last a long time that you can then sell to your customers to make a high profitable income.
JG Electronics also offers other transfer media technologies to transfer your images onto blank coated consumables. These technologies are the Prestige DTF (Direct to Film) printing, Sawgrass™ (sublimation printing), Heat transfer vinyl and more.

- Our long lasting do-it-yourself Subli Glaze™ sublimation coating solution is designed to enable you to sublimate and decorate on a wide range of non-coated hard surfaces. Available in matte, clear, opaque white, translucent white, and the adhesion promoter.
- The Muggit™ laser coating protects laser and inkjet transfers on metal and plastic items. Allow the heat transfer to cool completely, then spray a light coating and allow it to dry. Also for inkjet waterslide use (needs 3 coatings).
